Um, I have a bunch of problems with Senator Buyer's argument. First of all, he cites "smoke" as the reason for this "pandemic" of diseases like cancer and heart disease, and then implies that it's fine to use smokeless tobacco products.
Uh, last time I checked, dip causes a whole bunch of wicked gross cancers, all up in your mouth region. Which is a pretty important region, if you think about it. I admire his passion, because it's obvious that he cares a lot about the issue, but he needs to check himself before he wrecks himself (so to speak).
I found it when a friend showed me the auto tuned version... which made me laugh. But the when i heard the actual senator's argument I thought it was very interesting.
I agree with you on the smokeless tobacco. The additives found therein are very harmful and are carcinogens. The chemicals that are added to the tobacco and are inhaled through the smoke or absorbed through the cheeks and tongue when chewing.
I thought it was silly that he cited smokeless as a healthy alternative, but I think if people cut down on the additives we could eventually discover true healthy alternatives.
Well, I guess to give you my daily thoughts on here and then to tell you about myself would seem horribly redundant. I'll leave that up to you to write your own description of me in your mind.
